Two years ago, Harrison was diagnosed with leukemia and life for his family was forever changed.
His diagnosis impacted the whole family, as Harrison’s mother Allison took time off work to bring him to treatments in London, while his brother Simon and father Richard were separated from them during this trying time while they remained here in the Sault.
In an effort to help Harrison and his family enjoy quality time together and make special memories to last a lifetime, we spread some Christmas cheer by surprising them with a random act of kindness.
SooToday is a proud sponsor of this program.
A big thank you to our generous fellow sponsors for this Random Act of Kindness: Adam Slumskie at CIBC Wood Gundy and OC Beauty.
Next year marks our 10th year of 12 Days of Christmas Random Acts of Kindness surprises. To celebrate this milestone, we have a goal of raising $100,000 to brighten the holiday season for deserving community members. Do you want to help us give back through this program? We adapted the 12 Days of Christmas program once again this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Our surprises were filmed weeks ago and all applicable public health protocols were followed.
