There’s a new store in town, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
Habitat for Humanity's new Restore opened November 4 at 44 Great Northern Rd., Sault Ste. Marie.
“The new location will provide a unique shopping destination for affordable home improvement items, furniture, Christmas decorations, appliances, and building materials,” said a spokesperson. “Even better, every purchase will support our mission of building affordable homes in the community!”
Chairperson Allyson Schmidt said, “On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers I am so proud of what our new Restore represents for the history of our organization in Sault Ste. Marie and area and the future it will build for our community. Every purchase supports affordable home ownership, allowing families in our community to thrive, and will help us take on larger projects to expand our impact.”
Are you searching for a new look for your home, for the holiday season? The new store has lots of options for your kitchen and dining room needs, including cabinets, tables, chairs, and décor.
There is lots of holiday themed décor as well, including artificial Christmas trees, wreaths, garlands, ornaments, and lighting.
Are you Christmas shopping for your kids, or other family members? The Restore has new hats, gloves, and weighted blankets, plus plenty of kids’ toys and couches, not to mention a selection of stuffed animals your kids will love.
There is lots more to select from, including couches, chairs, side tables, appliances, and even BBQs, ready for next summer’s grilling season.
“We are thrilled with the donations and the products we have in this new store,” said the spokesperson. “There is a lot of selection! And even better, at our store you don’t pay HST!”
The new Habitat for Humanity Restore is at 44 Great Northern Rd.., in the Cambrian Mall. Entrance is at the back, by the food court entrance. Shopping hours are Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The donation centre is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
