Suspect sought in animal cruelty investigation

Crime Stoppers and the Hornepayne detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking for the public’s help in an animal cruelty investigation.

On Tuesday, March 1st, 2016 in the town of Hornepayne between the hours of 7 pm and 8 pm an 11 year old Scottish Terrier that was fenced in the back yard of a residence sustained an injury to its side caused by a pellet gun.

The canine received treatment from a veterinarian for its injury.
