VIDEO: Police trying to solve major gravel theft

According to police, a loader and a dump truck would have been needed.

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the public’s help in solving a theft.

Sometime between January 2016 and June 2016 person(s) unknown had been gaining access to a private gravel pit located off of Robertson Lake Road in Goulais Township.

The metal gate was broken but made to look like it was still intact.

A loader and a dump truck would have been needed to remove the approximately 40-50 loads of gravel that was stolen.
