The first 10 shows of the “Marianas Trench and the Last Crusade” tour set to begin on November 1 in Prince George, BC have been postponed due to an illness within the band. The tour will now begin on November 16 in St. Catharines, ON at the Meridian Centre, with the subsequent dates in Ontario and the Maritimes proceeding as scheduled.

The concerts prior to St. Catharines have been rescheduled to January and February 2017. The revised tour schedule can be found below. Tickets for the postponed shows will be honoured on the rescheduled dates.

Unfortunately the tour is unable to include rescheduled Sault Ste. Marie and Medicine Hat concerts. Refunds for both shows will be available at point of purchase.

“No one is more disappointed about this than I am,” says frontman Josh Ramsay. “Unfortunately, we must postpone some of our upcoming tour dates. My throat infection and resulting scar tissue is serious enough that my doctor's diagnosis was for me to not sing a note until the New Year. However, I can't handle this forcing me to cancel a second tour in a row completely, so I've chosen to postpone the first half of the tour to give my voice a little extra time to recuperate. With enough vocal rest and medicine, I should be back in fighting shape in no time. Unfortunately we weren’t able to reschedule all the shows, and we’ll have to see our fans in Sault Ste. Marie and Medicine Hat a little further down the road!”

The video is a “Pay It Forward” gesture inspiring people to go out and do some good, make the world a better place, even if just for a moment.

Since their 2006 debut, Fix Me, Marianas Trench have had two Certified Platinum-selling records (Masterpiece TheatreEver After), chart topping hits, garnered multiple SOCAN and MMVA Awards, number 1 videos on MuchMusic, JUNO nominations, and won the 2013 JUNO Award for Group of the Year.

Ramsay also received a Grammy nomination in 2013 for co-writing and producing Carly Rae Jepsen's breakthrough smash "Call Me Maybe."
