The cast and crew of the 2013 production of Les Misérables gathered at Algoma's Water Tower Inn on September 27th in a crusade to build the barricade! Community members were invited to help in this crusade by purchasing tickets to have a sneak peek at some of the talents of the cast.
Cast members performed a diverse array of music including one of the songs from the production.
Globally, this production continues to break box office records; with over 65 million people having seen the show across 42 countries.
The Musical Comedy Guild’s production of Les Misérables runs November 27 – December 1, 2013 at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre and tickets are selling fast! With tickets already over 30% sold, it is sure to sellout and tickets are available at the box office in the Station Mall or online at kctc.ca.
Les Misérables is based on the novel by French poet and playwright Victor Hugo and is set against the backdrop of 19th-century France. It tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption – a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.
