Fourteen coffee breaks add up

Visitors are often surprised to be offered a complimentary cup of coffee when they visit the famed tourist spot Agawa Indian Crafts and The Canadian Carver. But, what not everyone knows is that for the last 14 years owner Gerry Demers has been covering the cost of the coffee, and donating all of the proceeds he receives for each cup, for the entire season, to The Alzheimer's Society's Coffee Break fundraiser. Coffee Break is celebrating its 20th year on September 17th, so what better time to acknowledge one of its longest supporters.
