Local volunteers came to the aid of Northern Critters in Need this past Friday as they brought in a shipment of rescued dogs and puppies from reserves up north. Some dogs were lucky enough to be adopted in the Sault, while others were transported to Toronto after being walked and fed by volunteers. Northern Critters in Need is a nonprofit animal rescue group that runs out of Ignace and covers most of Northern Ontario.
