Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of theft.

On the 20th of April 2017 at around 1:50 p.m. an unknown female entered Hilltribe Store located in the Station Mall.

The female looked through a rack of tops and at one point concealed a top by placing it behind her back under her shirt.

The suspect then proceeded out the store without paying for the item.

The suspect was described as a heavy set female having short dyed blonde hair with one side shaved wearing dark rimmed glasses and walks with a cane.

The incident was caught on video surveillance and the video can be viewed on our YouTube page by searching “SSM & Algoma Crime Stoppers”.
