VIDEO: 'If you think something is wrong, trust your instincts'

Ovarian cancer is the most fatal women's cancer, but its symptoms are vague, making it difficult to diagnose. The Zonta Club of Sault Ste. Marie aims to raise awareness of ovarian cancer, and its symptoms, through a variety of events and programs in our city throughout the month of September.

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month, during which the Zonta Club of Sault Ste. Marie aims to raise awareness of the fatal women's cancer. Many people in our community, including both men and women, have been touched by the devastating disease. SooToday's Jasmyn Rowley spoke to some members of our community who have lost a love one to the disease, and are now raising awareness of the symptoms to promote early diagnosis.
