Jens Lamour is a WW2 veteran. He is also a retired fireman and captain with our city.
He and his wife Beatrice still live in their own home and have been married for 72 years.
He loves to garden, and still puts one in every summer. He cuts his lawn, gets his garbage out and still holds a drivers license and can often be seen driving around the block.
Every Remembrance Day he visits his granddaughters school and speaks to kids about his experiences.
