VIDEO: $300 in scratch tickets stolen from Rankin Confectionary

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police is requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of theft.

On April 9, 2020 at approximately 10:20 a.m., an unknown suspect entered Rankin Confectionary located at 450 Frontenac St., Batchewana First Nation, Ont.

The male suspect can be seen wandering the store and waits for an opportunity to steal scratch tickets.

Once the employee becomes distracted, the suspect walks behind the counter and takes two bundles of scratch tickets with a value of $300. 

The male then exits the store with the tickets.
