It only took three weeks from coming up with the idea to having almost two kilometres of groomed Nordic ski trails at Algoma University. Marissa Ditoro, an Algoma U student and member of the Algoma Thunderbirds Nordic ski team, demonstrates the trails for SooToday cameras.
Neighbours of the university have allowed their yards to be used for the trails and the public is welcome to use them.
