VIDEO: Firearms, tools and booze taken in break and enter

Sometime between June 14, 2020, and June 23, 2020, unknown suspects attended a seasonal residence at Mekatina in Desbiens Township

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police are requesting your assistance in identifying suspects involved in an incident of a Break Enter and Theft. 

Sometime between June 14, 2020, and June 23, 2020, unknown suspects attended a seasonal residence at Mekatina in Desbiens Township.

The suspects gained entry to the residence by forcing their way in the back door.  

The suspects stole numerous items before leaving the residence.

Look at the list of items below which were taken during the incident.

  • 20 gauge Remington Pump Action Shotgun, matte black finish with NWTF engraved on the barreL
  • 303 Bolt Action Military Style rifle circa WW2
  • Blue Solar Panel Inverter
  • Renogy Solar Charge Controller
  • 12VDC wire fed welder
  • 120V angle grinder 4. 5”
  • Large Stanley toolbox full of miscellaneous hand tools
  • Dewalt 18V radio/battery charger
  • Dewalt 18V skill saw
  • Dewalt 18V drill
  • Dewalt 18V snake light 
  • 3 Dewalt 18V batteries
  • 4 60oz bottles of 40 Creek Whiskey
  • 2 cases of beer

Suspects also tampered with the ignition switch on an ATV which was parked in the backyard.
