VIDEO: Local music students honour the fallen for Remembrance Day

Students from White Pines recorded a version of 'Travellin' Soldier' to mark the occasion

Dustin Jones of Mission Control Studio wanted to share the video above to observe Remembrance Day.

It features White Pines music teacher teacher, Greg MacLaclhan, and students Hannah Waddell, Allie Bouchard, and Chloe Wyslocky performing Travellin’ Soldier written and originally recorded by Bruce Robinson.

The song gained new popularity when it was released as a single by The Chicks (formerly The Dixie Chicks) in 2002.
