Graduating students from Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon celebrated with virtual graduations this year.
Due to restrictions in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19, graduates have missed out on celebratory milestones such as prom, graduation, and the last day of school.
In the age of physical distancing, virtual graduations are providing the opportunity for students to celebrate their hard work over the last year, or school boards to recognize student excellence, and for teachers to wish their students well as they take off on their next big journey.
The celebration for École secondaire Notre-Dame-du-Sault can be seen above and will take place this evening at 6 p.m.
The ceremony for École secondaire catholique Jeunesse-Nord in Blind River begins tonight at 7 p.m.
École secondaire catholique Trillium in Chapleau hosted their virtual graduation on Thursday,
Ecole secondaire Saint-Joseph in Wawa also hosted their virutal event on Thursday which included a message from graduates d'Andréa Demers and Brock Horton.
