YOUTH CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT Last Wednesday at approximately 12:10 pm, a 13-year-old was at a local school when the youth sexual assaulted another student. The young person committed the assault by touching the victim’s chest area and buttocks.
YOUTH CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT
Last Wednesday at approximately 12:10 pm, a 13-year-old was at a local school when the youth sexual assaulted another student. The young person committed the assault by touching the victim’s chest area and buttocks. At 1:55 pm the youth was arrested and charged by patrol officers with Sexual Assault. The accused will appear in court in mid January.


ARRESTED FOR THEFT
On Sunday the 7th of September 2003 at approximately 6:30 pm the accused, Donny Bouchard, age 25 of 555 Dundas Street allegedly entered a residence on Wallace Terrace and removed numerous articles of property. Patrol officers could not located the accused at this time and an arrest warrant was issued for Theft under $5,000.00. Yesterday at 6:35 pm, at a residence on Wellington Street East, officers located the accused and arrested him on the outstanding warrant. He will appear in court on January 19th.


CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
Yesterday, just after 4:00 pm, the accused, a 29-year-old male assaulted his common-law wife by pushing her against the wall in their apartment. As a result of being pushed, she received minor injures, which included a sore ear. Shortly before 7:00 pm patrol officers arrested and charged the male with Assault. A police records check revealed that the male was also wanted on an outstanding theft charge. He will appear in bail court today.


YOUTH SPITS IN ANOTHER’S FACE
Yesterday at an east end residence patrol officers were called to investigate an assault complaint. Officers learned that the accused, a 14-year-old assaulted another youth by spitting in the victim’s face. At 8:09 pm the accused was arrested and charged with Assault. He will appear in court in mid January.


BREAK & ENTERS
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated two break-ins in the past 24 hours. Shortly before 2:00 pm yesterday patrol officers were called to a residence on Trelawne Avenue where a home had been entered. It is uncertain what was removed.

At 12:51 this morning officers were called to an apartment on Lake Street where thieves had sometime earlier broken in and removed an electronic game player and several games.
