Robbery Call
At approx. 8:45 PM last night City Police were dispatched a Robbery call in the area of the Calvary Christian Centre on East St. At this location a taxi driver informed the arriving officers that he had just been robbed by his fare. . The victim reports that he was flagged down by the suspects at the corner of Albert St.E. and East St. Once in his cab one of the two males pulled out a knife and demanded his money. The two men then fled running behind the Calvary Christian Centre. Suspects are described as:
1. Male , Native Canadian, m1d 30’s, wearing a black leather jacket and jeans.
2. Male, Native Canadian, mid 40’s, wearing a blue and black bush jacket and jeans.
The weapon used by the first suspect is described as a small knife with a short blade.

Imparied driver
Early this morning, 1:25 AM, City Police were called to attend a call on Strand Ave regarding a vehicle being stuck in a snow bank. Upon arrival of the officers it was learned that the driver of the vehicle was Impaired. As a result City Police Officers arrested Jason St. Pierre, D.O.B.: 08 Feb 1975, of 338 Devon Rd. Mr. St. Pierre will be appearing in court on Jan 31st at 9:00 AM on charges of Impaired Driving and Drive Over 80 mgs.
Male Wanted on Serveral Warrants
This morning at approx. 1:00 AM City Police were called to attend at 318 Albert St.E. in regards to a fight. Upon arrival the officers discovered that the fight was over but in investigating the combatants it was learned that Richard Witty was wanted on several warrants. Richard Witty was arrested and charged with Fail to Appear for Prints, Breach of Probation and Possession of a Narcotic . He will be appearing in court on Jan 31st at 9:00 AM.
Male Charged with Harrassment
On Tuesday Dec. 21st Richard Breton, age 43, was arrested and charged with two counts Harassment. He was later released from custody on a release document with certain conditions. The conditions being that he not harass, annoy or attend at the work place of the complainant. On Wednesday December 22nd and again on Thursday December 23rd the accused attended at the complainant’s place of work and therefore breached his release documents. Mr. Breton will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM on two charges of Breach of an Undertaking.
At approx. 12:50 AM this morning City Police had occasion to investigate a male person on Bruce St. Upon investigating the male officers found him to be in Possession of a Narcotic. As a result the accused, Curtis Daynard , Age 21 of 389 Pim St. was arrested and charged with Possession of a Narcotic. He will be appearing in court on Jan. 31st at 9:00 AM.
The City Police R.I.D.E. Program was out again last night. Officers checked 150 vehicles and issued one 12 Hour Suspension.
