BITES OFFICER
On Wednesday at approximately 9:00 p.m. police were called to the General Hospital to assist with a patient. While trying to calm him down, the accused became aggressive and assaulted one officer by biting him on the hand.
Charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm is Alex Martin Currie, age 24, of 116 West Street. The police officer was treated at the hospital and released. The accused will be appearing in court on August 9th at 9:00 a.m.
INDECENT ACT
Yesterday morning city police arrested 50-year-old Denis Theriault for performing an indecent act. It is alleged that the accused was exposing himself to young children. Charged with Indecent Exposure, Breach of an Undertaking and Breach of Probation is: Denis Joseph Theriault of 196 James Street
CHARGED WITH B & E
At 2:30 a.m. yesterday, city police were called to an address in the 400 block of Nelson Street regarding a male breaking into the residence. Upon arrival police located and arrested Christopher Steven Daigle, age 33 of 350 Bloor Street. He is charged with Break and Enter and Breach of Probation.
PEPPER SPRAY
Early this morning City Police were called to an address on Biggings Street where they arrested a young person for Possession of Prohibited Weapon. It is alleged that the young person was in Possession of Pepper Spray without a licence.
BREAK AND ENTERS
The City Police Service is investigating one Break and Enter and one attempted Break and Enter that took place in the last two days. An entry was reported at a residence in the 100 block of Robin Street. Entry was gained by forcing a rear window. An attempted break and enter took place in the 400 block of Great Northern Road where the culprits tried to force a rear door with the assistance of a prying took.

City Police advise citizens to lock the vehicles at night and do not leave any valuables or cash in the vehicles. There has been a rash of vehicles entered in the past few days.
The Greenfield Dr. and Beaumont Ave. area as well as MacDonald Ave seem to be the areas hardest hit. If anyone see any suspicious persons wandering about or loitering in any area please call the City Police.
