RIDE RESULTS
During the evening of December 20th and into the morning of December 21st patrol officers conducted RIDE checks in the City. Officers checked 625 vehicles and issued 2 twelve-hour licence suspensions. The officers also arrested and charged one 40-year-old male driver with Impaired Driving and Driving over .08. Motorists are reminded not to drink and drive.

YOUNGSTER ARRESTED AGAIN
On Saturday at 10:00 am officers arrested and charged a 14-year-old male with three counts of Breach of Probation. The youth had missed his 9:00 pm curfew three times during the past several weeks. He will appear in court in late January.

ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING
On Saturday at 4:20 pm, Amanda Peltier, age 20 of Manitoulin Island allegedly stole from a retail store at the Station Mall, a gift set including a watch and perfume. The accused was arrested by security as she was loading the property in a vehicle. Police were called to the mall and arrested and charged the female with Theft under $5,000.00. She will
