CAUGHT BY MALL SECURITY Yesterday at approximately 2:00 p.m., Mark Reed, age 34 of no fixed address, allegedly stole a Uniden telephone from a business in the Station Mall by putting it in his jacket pocket and then leaving the store.

Yesterday at approximately 2:00 p.m., Mark Reed, age 34 of no fixed address, allegedly stole a Uniden telephone from a business in the Station Mall by putting it in his jacket pocket and then leaving the store.

Reed was then approached by Security in the Mall and fled on foot into the parking lot where he was caught by Security. Reed struggled but eventually was arrested for the theft.

A search of the accused revealed a 5gm vial of cannabis resin in his pant leg pocket. Assisting Reed in the theft by acting as a lookout was Sherri-Lynne McBride, age 28 of #4 Willoughby Street. Police arrested and charged Reed with Robbery, Possession of a Controlled Drug and Breach of Undertaking.

He will appear in bail court today. McBride was charged with Theft under $5,000.00 and Breach of Probation. She is scheduled to appear in court Dec 16th.
