City police had a fairly quiet twenty-four hour period. They are still looking for 27-year-old Paul Whalen in connection with the east-end gun discharge on Wednesday (see story and photo on news page.)
Overnight there were no domestic disturbance calls and only a couple of intoxicated citizens invited to sleep it off in the cells.
