City police had a very busy night last night with 4 impaired drivers charged, several domestic disputes and 4 assaults.

There were no injuries in a spectacular accident on Creery Avenue. The driver hit a culvert, spun into a driveway missing a car parked there by inches, spun into the garage and hit the vehicle that was parked there.

The driver then left the scene of the accident but was apprehended within a few minutes by police. He has been charged with impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of the accident.

Details on the other occurrences will be released by police later today.
