FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT CHARGE City police had a fairly quiet night last night. Only one drunk was picked up and he was only 17. There was one unusual domestic dispute that occurred at a restaurant on Great Northern Road.

City police had a fairly quiet night last night. Only one drunk was picked up and he was only 17.

There was one unusual domestic dispute that occurred at a restaurant on Great Northern Road. Several people witnessed a male force his girlfriend into a car and head north.

Alarmed witnesses called police who put out an all-points bulletin on the car. The O.P.P. spotted the vehicle on Highway 17 north and arrested the male who has been charged with forcible confinement. There were no injuries. He cannot be identified as it would likely also identify the victim.
