Male Arrested for Criminal Harrassment

Yesterday morning at approx. 5:00 AM City Police arrested a 50 year old male for Criminal Harassment. It is alleged that the accused continued to visit and call his ex-wife after being warned not to do so. Accused was warned in December to stop communicating with the complainant or going to her place of employment. The accused will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.

Charges Laid for Unsafe Storage of Firearms

Yesterday morning at approx. 9:30 AM City Police were called to a west end address in regards to a domestic. Upon investigating the incident officers learned that the accused, a 40-year-old male had assaulted the complainant. It is also alleged that the accused assaulted the same complainant on a previous date. As a result the accused was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault. While the officers were in the residence the officers located four rifles. These rifles were not properly stored and were not registered. The accused person was further charged with four counts of Unsafe Storage and four counts of Possession of Unregistered firearms. The accused will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.

Male Assaults Son

On the 10th of February 2005 a man was attempting to discipline his son. When the son resisted the father’s attempts to place him in a corner for “time out” the father used excessive force and caused an injury to the boy. The victim suffered a fractured arm as a result of the struggle. The Accused attended at the City Police Station on March 2nd and was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm. He will be appearing in court on Monday April 4th at 9:00 AM.

Domestic Dispute

At approx. 6:00 PM last night City Police were called to attend at a residence in the west end in regards to a domestic dispute. It is alleged that the accused assaulted his common-law partner by grabbing her by the arm and striking her face with his hand. The victim did not require medical attention as a result of the assault. The accused in this incident is a 31-year-old male. He will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.

Male Charged with Imparied Driving

Yesterday evening at approx. 11:40 PM City Police observed a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner on St. Georges Ave. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated by the officers. Upon speaking to the driver the officers noted that he was impaired by alcohol. Charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Over .80mgs is James McFarling, D.O.B.: 20 May 1959 of 143 Roosevelt Ave. He will be appearing in court on Monday April 4th at 9:00 AM.

Student Repeatedly Threatened

Yesterday afternoon City Police attended at a local high school and charged a student with threatening. It is alleged that the accused has been threatening to assault the victim since January 10th of this year. The threats caused the victim to fear for their safety and have thereby missed a lot of school. The accused will be attending court on Tuesday April 12th at 9:30 AM.
