Correction to November 4th’s release:
On Monday, the 3rd of November, the accused Kevin Jarvis, age 24 of 185 Cyrus Street, Cambridge Ontario assaulted the victim, an adult female, by punching and kicking her. The assault took place at the corner of Great Northern Road and Second Line East.
The victim received minor injures. The accused was on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be good and to also notify change of address. Jarvis has been charged with Assault and two counts of Breach of Probation. He will appear in bail court today.
The victim in this incident was incorrectly reported as a female, when it should have been a male.
Also from this incident a second co-accused: Thomas Pine, age 23 of 6 Kim Drive, Heyden was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault and a Breach of Probation.
Pine assaulted the above noted male victim and another male who had come to the assistance of the victim. Thomas Pine will appear in court on December 8th.
CITY TRAILOR BROKEN INTO
The City Board of Works reports that one of their construction trailers was broken into yesterday. The trailer, which was parked on Huron St. between Albert St. and Alexandra St., had contained generators and construction equipment.
POLICE OFFICER ASSAULTED
Yesterday morning at approx. 11:40 AM city police were called to 477 Queen St.E., the Queencentre, in regards to a male person breaking several windows at this location.
Cst. Carson, the first officer to arrive at the scene, attempted to arrest the male suspect. The suspect was uncooperative and punched Cst. Carson in the face. A struggle then took place and during this struggle the accused attempted to disarm the police officer.
Several citizens came to the assistance of Cst. Carson and helped him handcuff the accused. Charged with Assault Police, Attempt to Disarm Police Officer, Resist Arrest, Mischief and Breach of Probation is Martin Simonie VINE, D.O.B.: 25 June 1980, of 814 Wellington St.E.Apt. # 3.The accused will be appearing in Bail Court today at 1:30 PM.

WEAPONS ASSAULT
At approx. 6:55 PM yesterday city police were called to an east end residence in regards to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers discovered that a male person had been stabbed by his common-law girlfriend.
The victim, who suffered a one inch cut to the back of his left calf, was taken to the hospital but refused medical attention. The accused a 49-year-old female was arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon.
She will be appearing in Bail Court today at 1:30 PM. Both the victim and the accused had been drinking and arguing prior to this incident taking place.
SHOPLIFTER NABBED
At approx. 2:45 PM yesterday City Police officers attended at Zeller’s, in the Station Mall in regards to a male shoplifter. Upon investigating the accused it was learned that he was also wanted for failing to Appear in Court.
Charged with Theft Under $ 5,000. and Fail to Appear in Court is: Darrin Thomas PHILLIPS, D.O.B.: 28 June 1964, of 149 Leo St. Apt. # 1. He will be appearing in Bail Court today at 1:30 PM.
