MALE CHARGED WITH BREACH OF PROBATION
29-year old Tim Mitchell of 119 Andrew Street will be appearing in bail court this morning. Shortly before midnight City Police located Mr. Mitchell to be in an intoxicated state. A check of Mr. Mitchell showed he was on a release order with conditions not to consume alcohol and a probation order with conditions to keep the peace and be good. The accused has been charged with one count of breach of a release document and one count of breach of probation.
CRIMINAL HARASSMENT CHARGES LAID
39-year old Andrew Waite of 7-1279 Wellington Street East will also be appearing in bail court this morning. Last evening officers from the Investigation Services Section arrested Mr. Waite after receiving a complaint from a female. It is alleged that over a number of months the accused has been watching the complainant at her place of work and calling her as well. The accused had been warned by officers in the past to leave the complainant alone but continued to bother her. The accused has been charged with one count of criminal harassment.
MALE TRIES TO GET AWAY WITHOUT PAYING
45-year old Michael Adams of 1-798 Queen Street East was arrested shortly before midnight. City Police received a complaint from Cellar Tap Pub and Grill on Bay Street that the accused had attended in the establishment, ordered and ate a sandwich and a couple of beer, and then left without paying. An employee followed the accused and pointed him out to police. Mr. Adams has been charged with one count of fraudulently obtaining food and will appear in court on December 30th.
TELEVISION STOLEN
City Police received one report of a residential break and enter yesterday afternoon. Thieves entered a home in the 100 block of Goulais Avenue and left with a television.
