EMPLOYEE THIEFT During the month of July the accused Robert Hilliard, age 26 of 10 Pozzebon Cres. allegedly committed several internal thefts from Bata Shoes in the Station Mall. On November 3rd at 10:00 am the accused turned himself over to police.

During the month of July the accused Robert Hilliard, age 26 of 10 Pozzebon Cres. allegedly committed several internal thefts from Bata Shoes in the Station Mall.

On November 3rd at 10:00 am the accused turned himself over to police. He was arrested and charged with Theft under $5,000.00 and will appear in court on Dec. 8th.

TURNS SELF IN
On the 2nd of September 2003, Nancy Kutt, age 35 of 100 James Street # 306 called an adult victim she knew several times and on one of those calls threatened to kill the victim. Several other phone calls were made to the victim during the month of October by the accused containing derogatory remarks.

Yesterday afternoon, the accused turned herself in at the City Police Station where she was arrested and charged with Uttering Threats. She will appear in court December 8th.

GROCERY STORE THEFT
Yesterday afternoon, the accused Terry Lynne Syrette, age 33 of 29 London Street, removed over $100.00 in groceries from Joe's No Frills at 519 Korah Road in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Upon arrest by Store Security the accused fraudulently personated another person by identifying herself with a false name. Patrol officers arrested and charged the accused with Theft and Personation. She will appear in court December 8th.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT CHARGE
Last night at approximately 9:00 pm a 37-year-old male had a domestic argument with his common-in-law girlfriend that escalated to violence. The victim was punched in the head twice by the accused. She received minor injures in the assault.

Patrol officers went to the west end apartment and arrested and charged the accused with Assault. He will appear in court today.

BREACH OF PROBATION
On the 31st of October 2003, patrol officers spoke with the guardian of a 16 year old young person and learned that the youth was not living at the residence listed on the young persons recognizance. The young person was also on probation to keep the peace and be good.

Last night at 9:12 pm the accused was arrested for Breach of Recognizance and Breach of Probation. The accused will appear in court in early December.

ASSAULT CHARGE
Yesterday, the accused, Kevin Jarvis, age 24 of 185 Cyrus Street, Cambridge Ontario, assaulted the victim, an adult male, by punching and kicking him. The assault took place at the corner of Great Northern Road and Second Line East.

The victim received minor injures. The accused was on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be good and to also notify change of address. Jarvis has been charged with Assault and two counts of Breach of Probation. He will appear in bail court today.

ASSAULT CHARGES
Early this morning, shortly before 1:00 am Patrol Officers were called to a residence on Capp Ave. for a noise complaint. Officers learned that David Lesage, 34 of 82 Wolf Street, Garden River and Thomas Boissoneau, age 23 of 230 Whiskey Jack Rd. Garden River had assaulted a resident of the home they were at by grabbing and pushing the victim. The victim received minor injures.

Further, Lesage threatened the victim with bodily harm. Both accused were arrested and charged with Assault. Lesage faces the additional charge of Threatening. They will appear in court on December 8th.

GOULAIS AVE. BREAK IN
Yesterday, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated one break in. Shortly after 5:00 pm Officers were called to an apartment on Goulais Ave. It is unknown what was taken at this time. Anyone with information on this break in is asked to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service at 949-6300 or Crime Stoppers.

IMPAIRED
At 3:05 am this morning, patrol officers checked a car that was driving east on Albert Street West. Officers found the driver, Ryan Rouse, age 26 of 140 Goulais Ave. to have his ability to drive a motor vehicle impaired by alcohol.

At 3:07 am the accused was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the Police Services Building for breath tests. He has been charged with Impaired Driving and Driving over .08. He will appear in court on December 8th.

MIKE’S MART ROBBERY
At 4:39 am this morning Patrol Officers were called to the Mike’s Mart on Wellington Street East for a robbery. The officer’s investigation revealed that a male in his 30’s, wearing glasses, blue jeans and a disguise to cover his face used a hunting type of knife to rob the store.

The suspect was last observed running south on Pine Street away from the store. No one was injured in the robbery and a small quantity of cash was taken.
