YOUTH ON THE LOOSE Yesterday afternoon, at approx. 3:45 , a resident, of the 100 block of Grosvenor Ave., returned home to find two youths in her house. The culprits fled the premises and ran along the railway tracks.

Yesterday afternoon, at approx. 3:45 , a resident, of the 100 block of Grosvenor Ave., returned home to find two youths in her house. The culprits fled the premises and ran along the railway tracks. City Police were called and subsequently located two youths along with some stolen property. Both were charged with Break and Enter and will be appearing in court on Jan 20,2004.

BREAK INS

There were two other Break-ins reported yesterday. The first was to the Central Radiator Shop located at 24 Queen St. W. At this time it is not known what was stolen. The second Break-in took place to a residence in the 500 block of Wellington St.W.

TRUCK STOLEN

City Police are investigating a stolen truck report from yesterday The truck, a 1985 blue and white Ford F150 pick up, licence number LW5974, was stolen from the 300 block of Cathcart St. Anyone seeing this vehicle is asked to contact the police.

At approx. 5:30 this morning, City Police received a call for an attempted theft of a vehicle in the 100 block of London St. The ignition in the vehicle had been tampered with.

PURSE SNATCHED

At approx. 1:45 this morning a female had her purse stolen from the area of 727 Bay St., The Sleep Inn. Suspect is described as a male wearing a grey jacket and a toque.

BUMBLE BEE LURKING

At about 2:25 this morning, City Police received a call regarding a suspicious male in the 100 block of Grosvenor Ave. This male was reported to be wandering around some residences. This suspect was wearing a yellow and black coat.

WEATHER RELATED

There were 22 motor vehicle collisions reported yesterday. The bulk of the incidents took place just as it started to snow. Please slow down and keep a proper distance in bad weather.
