VEHICLE COLLISIONS City police investigated 5 motor vehicle collisions on Tuesday and one of the accidents resulted in a driver being charged.

City police investigated 5 motor vehicle collisions on Tuesday and one of the accidents resulted in a driver being charged. Juliette Soucie, 66 years old of Echo Bay was driving north on Church Street in the right hand lane when she attempted to make a left turn into Cameron Lane.

The Soucie vehicle struck a car being driven by Colleen Taylor, 48 years old of 205 Panoramic Drive, that was also north bound on Church St., however it was being driven in the left lane. Both vehicles sustained a light amount of damage. Mrs. Soucie is charged with changing lanes not in safety.

DOGONE THE COW IS GONE
L.C. Sue is missing again. On Sunday morning employees of Shoppers Drug Mart noticed that the Lock City Dairies mascot was missing from its location in front of the Shoppers Drug Mart in the Cambrian Mall.

The cow was last seen at approximately 12:45 Sunday morning. If anyone has information about the location of “L.C. Sue”, contact the city police at 949-6300.

IN BAIL COURT THIS MORNING
3 local men will appear in Bail court this morning after having been arrested Tuesday when officers executed outstanding arrest warrants:

Gray Latvanen, age 30 of 7-171B Willoughby Ave has been charged with Break and enter and Breach of an undertaking. It is alleged that Mr. Latvanen broke into Sault College on the 22nd of January and attempted to steal a video projector. He was also on a condition to stay away from the school.

David Larue, age 23 of 21 Ferguson Avenue will appear on charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)and 2 counts of breaching his undertaking.These offences are alleged to have occurred in August of last year.

Martin Suomi, age 38 of 2-171 Breton Road is facing charges of theft under $5000, fail to appear for court – 3 counts, and fail to appear for the purpose of Identification of Criminals Act. These charges arise from an incident at the Zellers store, Station Mall location, in March of 2003
