MISSING BOY FOUND
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service announced this afternoon that 14-year-old Thomas Jolley has been found in good physical condition. The Sault youngster had left home June 24th following an argument.

He was spotted by patrol officers today about noon walking on Pine Street. He has been returned home by police who thank members of the public for their vigilance and assistance.


ASSAULTED A POLICE OFFICER
On Tuesday July 1st at approx. 7:15 p.m., City Police were called to an address in the100 block of Second Line West in regards to a disturbance. Upon the officers' arrival they located Andrew Carbone, age 44, and attempted to arrest him for breaching conditions of his undertakings. It is alleged that Mr. Carbone then resisted being arrested and punched one of the officers.

He was subsequently subdued and arrested. He is charged with Assaulting a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest and two counts of Breach of Undertaking. Mr. Carbone does not have a fixed address and will be attending Bail Court today at 1:30 p.m. The police officer did not require medical attention as a result of this incident.


BREAK, ENTER, & MISCHIEF
In the past 24 hours there were three break and enters reported to the City Police. The entries took place in the 500 block of Morin Street, the 500 block of Bush Street and the 100 block of Boston Avenue.

There were two reports of mischief over the same time period. One incident took place at the Undercover Bureau located at 491 Queen Street East where unknown person(s) broke the front window. The second incident took place in the 100 block of Parasol Court where a house was egged.


DAMP PARKING
On Monday June 30th at approx. 9:40 p.m., a vehicle was pulled out of the water at the Bellevue Marina. The vehicle apparently slipped out of gear and rolled into the St. Mary's River. No one was in the vehicle at the time of this incident.
