DEALING WITH BEARS Even though City Police have seen a drop in the number of bear calls, the public is reminded to continue to use steps to reduce the attraction of food sources for the bears. Ensure your garbage cans are closed and secure, if you have large dumpsters, ensure that the lids are used on them.
Even though natural food sources are available for the bears they may still come around to an established source. If you see a bear, do not approach and call City Police.
