DRUG BUST
Yesterday at 1:00 pm the Joint Forces Drug Unit executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrant on a residence located on Johnson Avenue. During the search a small marihuana growing operation, including growing equipment, and 10 marihuana plants was located and seized.

The estimated value of the seized drugs is $10,000.00. Officers arrested and charged both Judy Crack, age 43 and George Crack, age 18 of 18 Johnson Ave. #1 with Possession of a Controlled Drug and Production of a Controlled Drug for the Purpose of Trafficking. They are scheduled to appear in court Dec 30th.


6-YEAR-OLD CALLS POLICE
On the November 16 at 3:00am, officers were called to at an apartment on Walnut Street. The call was placed by a 6-year-old saying that a man was beating up her mom. Officers noted that the door to the apartment was insecure and the male was not in the residence upon their arrival.
