City police have nothing to report having had a very quiet twenty-four hours but there were a dozen calls last night to have cars ticketed and towed for interfering with snow-clearing operations.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT SENDS TWO TO HOSPITAL Yesterday afternoon at 5:34, two vehicles collided at the corner of Great Northern Road and the Second Line.

MAN ARRESTED FOR KIDNAPPING Last night, police were called to the courthouse parking lot to investigate a report of a man and woman fighting. The female had been brought to the Sault against her will from her home in Azilda, near Sudbury.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS On Saturday at 4:54 p.m., a single vehicle accident occurred on Old Garden River Road. A 1997 Chrysler Intrepid driven by 25-year-old Pamela Pelletier of Grove Cres.

City police had a fairly quiet night last night. Two people were arrested for being drunk in a public place. Police report no accidents overnight regardless of the snowfall.
