Hey Dad, “Cooker” it is hard to believe you have been gone a year. It feels like yesterday when you said, “Merry Christmas, I love you and I will see you later”, yet it feels like a lifetime since I heard your laugh. It has been a difficult year but also one of celebrations. During the most difficult of times, I found myself asking what advice would you have given me, and at the exciting times, I would find myself wanting to tell you what was going on and share the news.
What a parallel process Dad, learning to celebrate Christmas without you and reflecting on the Anniversary of your death.
Merry Christmas in Heaven Dad, we love and miss you greatly.
