One year ago today, May 20, 2022, my beloved Dad passed away at the age of 82 in Victoria B.C after battling dementia for several years.
He was the son of the late Robert Angus and Hazel Pearle. Husband to Helen for 44 years. Proud father to Mariah (Jon) and super proud Grandpa to Ben and Emily.
Brother of the late Allen, Ellen, Donna, Dennis, Roland, Gladys and Margaret. Also, brother to Violet, Deanna, Gordon, Linda, and Holly. Uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Forbie held many different jobs over the years included being in the US army. But he became an x-ray technician and then later a registered nurse, which he loved and retired from after more than 40 years. He was a diligent and respected nurse who loved what he did.
Forbie enjoyed gardening and camping. He was a talented baker and made an excellent lemon meringue pie! Forbie also loved a good game of cribbage and a cold beer. He could complete the morning crossword puzzle over his breakfast and loved following the local and world news.
Forbie left so many amazing memories and he is missed every single day.
A memorial will be held to celebrate his life at a later time.
