Neilson, Robert Frank- (1924-2017)
It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of R. Frank Neilson who slipped away peacefully on Thursday, April 27th in his 93rd year. Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Irene and is the father of Catherine (Earl) and Anne. Much loved grandfather of Robert Poirier (Leena) and cherished great grandfather, “GiGi” of Alexander, Anthony and Kaisa Poirier. Predeceased by his siblings, Alec, Florence, Margaret and Marion. He was a special uncle to Sue and Jane Rodgers, Pat Watt, Marilyn Lambourne and their many children and grandchildren. Frank was a dear friend of Shirley Ross and will be dearly missed by her children, Lisa (Tim), Brian (Heidi), Rosemarie (Curt), Maurie (Terry) and their families.
Please join us for a celebration of life, in Frank's honour to be held at the Royal Canadian Legion on Saturday, May 20th at 2 p.m. All are welcome. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
