Although airport passenger levels have slowly climbed throughout 2024, the numbers are down from this time last year — and way down from the pre-pandemic era.
A total of 12,835 passengers flew out of the Sault Airport in March, an 11.8 per cent drop from the same month last year. Compared to March 2019, that's a 31 per cent drop.
