Soo Greyhounds president and governor Tim Lukenda will have a bigger role within the Ontario Hockey League.
Having served on the OHL’s board of governors since 2017, Lukenda is the new chairman of the board of governors.
The league announced Lukenda’s new position on Friday afternoon after the OHL’s annual general meeting in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Lukenda, who has been the secretary treasurer of the OHL executive council since 2019, succeeds Saginaw Spirit president and managing partner Craig Goslin and is the first representative in Greyhounds history to serve as chairman of the board.
