Sault College will once again run it's annual Summer Basketball League for boys and men ages 15 and over. The league will run on Sunday nights from 5-9 p.m. beginning on May 22nd.

Several unofficial provincial and Canadian records were set over the weekend in Sault Ste. Marie during the 2005 Provincial Masters Swimming Championship. The three-day event attracted nearly 180 swimmers from 23 clubs across Ontario.

Sixteen Sault Ste Marie Aquatic Club swimmers traveled to Sudbury for a two-day regional competition over the weekend for the first Long Course competition of the season. Head coach Rob Moreside was pleased with the results.

The Soo Thunderbirds continue to cling to life in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs.

The pesky Windsor Spitfires just won't go away for the Soo Greyhounds. After the Greyhounds grabbed a 3-0 series lead and prepared for a sweep, the locals have watched the Spitfires climb all the way back into the series.

The Soo North Stars will return home on Sunday night with the provincial silver medal hanging from their necks.

The Soo Bantam Greyhounds saw their season come to a disappointing end on Saturday at the Ontario Bantam AAA Hockey Championships in Thunder Bay. In the bronze medal game of the tournament, the Greyhounds were blanked 4-0 by the London Jr.

The Northern Michigan Black Bears have pushed the Soo Thunderbirds to the brink of elimination in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs.

The Soo Greyhounds are doing something they hoped they wouldn't have to do. They're on their way to Windsor for game six of their Western Conference playoff series with the Windsor Spitfires.

The Soo North Stars will play for the gold medal on Sunday at the Ontario Hockey Federation Midget AAA Championships in Toronto. The North Stars advanced to the championship game with a 3-2 win over the London Jr.
