PHILADELPHIA — Claude Giroux and Andrew MacDonald scored in the second period and the Philadelphia Flyers overcame Patrik Laine's 40th goal of the season in a 2-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday that snapped a five-game losing streak.

EDMONTON — Connor McDavid is playing like he has his sights set on a second straight scoring title. McDavid scored a pair of goals and added an assist as the Edmonton Oilers emerged with a 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.

NASHVILLE — After giving up a late tying goal, Keith Kinkaid was determined to still win the game. Brian Boyle scored in the fifth round of the shootout to lift the New Jersey Devils to a 3-2 victory over the Nashville Predators on Saturday night.
