RALEIGH, N.C. — The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired forward Josh Jooris from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for centre Greg McKegg.

The Edmonton Oilers have traded forward Patrick Maroon to the New Jersey Devils for a 2019 third-round pick and prospect J.D. Dudek. Maroon, 29, has 14 goals and 16 assists in 57 games this season.

CALGARY — The Calgary Flames acquired centre Nick Shore from the Ottawa Senators on Monday prior to the NHL trade deadline. In return, the Senators received a 2019 seventh-round pick.

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Jets acquired forward Paul Stastny from the St. Louis Blues on Monday for forward Erik Foley and two draft picks. Winnipeg also sent a 2018 first-round pick and conditional fourth-round 2020 selection to the Blues.

The Philadelphia Flyers have claimed Johnny Oduya, a day after the two-time Stanley Cup-winning defenceman was placed on waivers by the Ottawa Senators.

Nashville Predators forward Mike Fisher has made his return from a brief retirement official by signing a one-year, $1 million contract for the remainder of the season. Fisher had announced Jan. 31 that he was planning to return to the Predators.
