CAR-DEER COLLISON Searchmont, Ont.. Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to Hwy 556 near Searchmont for a car and deer collision yesterday morning. At about 7:00 a.m. a car traveling to Searchmont, on Hwy 556, struck the deer.

ASSAULT AT GOULAIS Yesterday at 12:30 a.m., Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. responded to a domestic dispute at a Goulais River Residence. A woman received minor injuries resulting in the arrest of 50-year-old Rene Bernier.
