Oh my just to think that she has been on my mind for the past week or or so. Sharon and I were the best friends all through High-school on St. Joseph Island. LyLe I had it on my mind that I should go shopping for a nice white Bible like the one she gave me in 1957 for Christmas. Sorry I am to late but Sharon God Bless and always keep God in your heart. My sincere condolences to Joyce ( Hadden) Mertes family. I and some of my family had the pleasure of being some of her fi rst students at Ste. Jos. Island public school (C line) I was only in grade 2 I think. My really true memory ( good ) was that she wore a Beautiful Plaid Skirt that touched the floor on both sides of her chair when she sat at her desk. Sounds silly but I was only 6 or 7.
