Is there a value to them if only taken to scrap yard and sold? If so are they brought to local scrap yards or out of town? Or is it a twisted collector or someone else doing it for extrinsic gains? Is there someone that takes a regular inventory of these? Or should an inventory be done ASAP?

Why would "non permanent residents" count? Students who are only here for 2-4 years? I dont believe they should be included in population count. So what is the count of permanent residents?

One error in judgement after another. No transparency. No explanations. Council does not seem to be listening to their constituents whatsoever, but we are the ones payng for their mistakes and instead of being diligent, they just keep on doing what they want. Hopefully they will at least have the decency to fill us all in on what influenced their decision in this latest apparent debacle.

Its a shame what has happened to downtown. My wife enjoys shopping for clothing and the city used to offer a lot as I am aware and I have been told, lol. My wife stated and this is supported by many, that SSM was the women's clothing center of the North. That women actually traveled here from Sudbury (no Costco) to shop mostly Queen St and the Station Mall offerings of womens clothing. And now the majority are closed or closing. Queen St is still looking fair along with Norths Bay Main St and both are ahead of Sudburys downtown, but our other issue is too many malls. Sudbury and North Bay literally have one each and we have three. Way to go Market Mall. Have hope Station Mall and poor Cambrian Mall.

So we have an Integrity Commissioner? Since 2018?
Does anyone know her job description?, her qualifications?, her remuneration?
Kinach's comments dont seem out of line at all.
And again this our tax dollars at work?
I thought our councillors are elected to have a backbone, question things if they dont seem right, and stand by what they say and do and not be subject to bullying and criticism etc. or subject to speculation and discipline by an "Integrity Commissioner" who, again I hope someone to explain who she is, her job details and her qualifications.
Does the "Integrity Commissioner" have anyone to answer to? Anyone overseeing her?

So for the most part law abiding citizens will again help to pay other problems that is none of their doing? We the taxpayers, vehicle owners, could be charged, fined, and are these extra monies to go to the drug, homeless, police, corrections, front line health care, that we pay for already?

You would have to work in ASI or be a regular contractor to understand what is like in there.
I have been involved with ASI and heavy industry in Northern Ontario for the better part of 35 years. Steel working , along with Mining (underground), Sawmills have a higher amount of danger and their people are paid accordingly. ASI does a great job of training their people, and contractors on safety, but the danger is there and it is what you have to accept working in there. The "Plant" has been here 125 years and hopefully will be here longer because if lost whether we like it or not, it will have a huge negative financial/economical impact on us. Right now there is approx. 1000+ out of town contractors here and have been for about 2 years and will be here for at least 2 more. That is an amazing amount of money coming into the Soo. And lets not forget the 3000 employees that Algoma has and us 1000 local people who thank ASI for our living.
