To all the complainers our there. You win the job of decorating the 20 plus foot tree for next year. You can also pay for it and volunteer Your time. The small businesses in our Downtown are bringing amazing positivity to our City. I love Moonlight Madness!! Well done merchants and DTA. I enjoyed my night completely.

Since they haven't released details about what happened with the accident maybe none of us should be speculating but rather supporting her loved ones and families instead. As an avid cyclist I am appalled by some of the comments on here. I also had the opportunity to see this couple cycling on the way to Sudbury the evening of the accident. They had to pass through horrible road conditions prior to the accident which is an area with wide roads. They were laying asphalt all the way from Blind River to Iron Bridge and in another long section near Sudbury. I won't speculate what happened but there is lots people can do to prevent accidents like this happening again. From what I see everyone is in a big hurry? Big hurry to where exactly. Slow down and enjoy life because in a heartbeat it can be all over. The sunset would not have been a factor on this evening. I passed by at the exact time of the accident on my return trip Thursday. It was beautiful but not blinding in any way.

I saw this couple yesterday around 7 pm riding when i was driving to Sudbury. They drew my attention because they had gotten separated in an area with a ton of construction when I saw them. Devastating what happened. Condolences to him and their families. Simply tragic.

We like to point fingers at the police but what about the parents of these children. It starts there. Teach your children to respect other people’s property and how to work for what you have. It starts with the parents - ALWAYS.

Probably because they’ve identified the purchaser and gave them a new ticket.

Holding a lottery is complex. It’s mandatory that you log all tickets out by number and track every ticket sold. That’s how they know.

The problem is that you’re all complaining. It’s more important to be kind. Why is being right that important. What solutions and financial support are the complainers giving to make it better? Complaint fixes nothing. Action fixes it and that’s it. When I drive by the tree I’m going to spread love instead of complaining. Manage your energy.
