Disgusting. Did you know Orangeville, Ont. and many other communities have free transit rides? This is a social service. This is about equality and improving the cost of life for low-income people, seniors, young families, students, and every other struggling demographic. It's not 25 cents. It's 25 cents more EVERY TIME, FOREVER. Council needs to pull themselves off the golf course and spend time with REAL PEOPLE who can't survive in this economy. I am sickened by this lack of compassion for people with disabilities, just trying to LIVE.

This is disgusting. I take transit to go to my job. Would it be better if I took welfare instead?? Punishing people for being moral members of society who choose the environmentally-friendly public transit is absurd. Service is only once an hour on weekends and now they want us to pay MORE for dirty seats? This council is SHAMEFUL.
