On the 5 May 2016, a man turned himself into the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service. He was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous impaired driving charge. He will be appearing in court on the 6 June 2016 at 9 a.m.

On April 27 city police officers attended to Canadian Tire regarding a shoplifting complaint. Investigation revealed the accused male had left the store without paying for several items.

On April 26 at 3 p.m. officers investigated a male in the downtown area of the city. A check found that the male was wanted on warrants for theft under $5,000, breach of probation and failing to attend court.
