It has been 365 days since you left us on June 9, 2020. Not one day has passed that we haven’t thought about you and we miss you deeply. When you left, we thought we would never smile again. We didn’t know how we would survive your 40th birthday or Christmas without you. When those days came and went we talked about you and shared memories of you. Although we cried, we smiled and laughed thinking of you and knew you were there with us in spirit. When we see a butterfly fly near us or a friendly dog come our way, we know it is you saying hello. When times get tough, it is your strength that gets us through. We always remember your big smile and infectious laughter and know you are smiling at us from above. We may be heartbroken, but we are healing and have faith we will see you again and know you are watching over us.
