The Sault Ste. Marie Public Library will be celebrating Ontario Public Library Week with a full array of programming that promotes reading and creative thinking.

Jack Armstrong arrived in Canada in 1960 from Belfast, Ireland. He started painting at the age of 18, left it alone for about 15 years, and eventually came around to it again and hasn't stopped for the past 15 years.

They blur the lines of reggae and rock. You can hear the influence of punk, dancehall, world, dub, and jungle in their songs. Their latest CD was recorded by Darryl Jenifer of Bad Brains.

Local favourites Startlefish will be playing a very special acoustic show at Loplops, Thursday October 7th. Although most Startlefish performances mix electric and acoustic elements together, this show promises to have a distinctly softer edge.
